Brett Appleby, NMD
Dr. Brett Appleby is a California licensed Naturopathic Doctor, trained in naturopathic primary care medicine. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University and received his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences. As a Christian missionary, he served for two years among the people of Thailand, serving in numerous leadership positions as well as teaching English in schools and volunteering at local hospitals. His passion for health and wellness stems from his own past struggles with a debilitating chronic disease and subsequent healing experience using natural medicine.
With extensive medical training and experience, Dr. Appleby treats a wide-range of chronic health issues and conditions. Utilizing a vast array of natural therapeutics firmly grounded in the holistic approach, Dr. Appleby successfully renews hope, health, and vitality. His philosophy is simple—seek and treat the true underlying root cause of disease. As a functional medicine expert he firmly espouses the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit, and lifestyle in determining the status of one’s health.
As a result of his own personal health journey, Dr. Appleby has made it his life’s mission to help others overcome their personal struggles with illness and frustration with our current medical care system. Now considered one of the fittest doctors in America, Dr. Appleby encourages others to self-educate, to self-empower, and teaches the use of holistic methods to prevent and reverse disease by supporting the body’s natural healing processes.
Haley Frances Feher
Haley Frances Feher is a Sacramento Native with over 15 years in the Elective Medicine and Private Practice sector, six of those working directly with Functional Medicine.
Proven success in management, marketing and sales allowed her to become an obvious addition to the HRC team. Passion and belief for alternative medicine has driven her to go the extra step in providing her patients with not only the tools to take back their health but also the education and conversations to inspire and motivate them to reach and surpass their health goals.
While not in the office you can find her playing fetch with her instafamous pooch Pepe or spending time on her family’s farm.
As a health and fitness professional, my mission is to advocate a healthier lifestyle for my clients. I hope to impact people through education as a personal trainer and health coach, so that I can lead them to a higher fitness level

Tricia Rose, Certified Teacher, BS
Tricia Rose has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Southern Utah University and educational endorsements from Utah State University. As a teacher she inspired and worked with hundreds of amazing students and families for 14 years. She has a deep desire to help others, and she expresses that through teaching. So, making the leap to help others through teaching health and wellness was a logical transition.
At Health Renewal Centers she has combined her love for teaching together with her passion for health and fitness to create the perfect conditions to help others on their journey for a happy and vibrant life. She believes that diet and nutrition are the most powerful tools in the quest for achieving optimal health, and loves to share her story with others who are trying to make their own changes. In her spare time she enjoys working out and spending time with family. Tricia’s passion for fitness and healthy living has brought her much happiness which you can see in her contagious laugh and smile!
